Post subject: A Rugby-shaped golf ball???
If you're sick of the regular white golf ball, then you'll love Burton Silver who's created an oval golf ball. He claims his rugby football-shaped golf ball is no spoof. It took him a whopping 12 years of development!! Apparantly it's impossible to slice or hook, which will come as exciting news to many a frustrated golfers. Silver's ambition doesn't stop there, he wants players to tee off using a "tee cup" and aiming at large netted goals rather than greens with a hole, reflecting the unpredictable roll of an oval ball.
