Designed by Spanish Ryder Cup player Antonio Garrido and  first opened in 2001, Los Flamingos offers an exciting and varied design.  The tiered greens and rolling fairways will catch the eye of even the most discerning golfer.  With features like the "Arroyo del Taraje" stream passing through the course and emptying into a lake that is a natural boundry for the course at the beginning of holes one and ten.  You will undoubtedly notice every detail has been considered when constructing this course to give each hole its own unique identity.

Los flamingos is most enjoyable with a good mixture of both long and short holes.  It will provide a good test for even the most accomplished player, particularly the front nine.  The par 4 tenth is the most demanding hole where water plays a part.  The course boasts two artificial lakes on the fifteenth and seventeenth which add even more interest to this wonderland of golf.  Although the course can be walked it is advisable to take advantage of the buggies on offer so you can sit and admire the scenic landscape between shots.  Each of the holes will provide breathtaking views to the Med, Africa and Gibraltar while enjoying the peace and tranquillity you expect from a golf course of this standard.

Other facilities on offer include, practice area, putting green and the short 9 hole par 3 ‘Flamingo Blanco’ to enjoy.  Eventually there will be four golf courses on this site.  The pro shop, changing facilities and clubhouse are all located within the beautiful Hotel Villa Padierna.  Offering all the comfort expected from a five-star luxury hotel Villa Padierna would grace any golf course around the world.  

With your round complete you can enjoy a drink or snack in the café.  From the wonderful terrace here you can admire the beautiful views of the lake, sea and golf course.
