La Quinta Golf and Country Club provide 27 holes of bliss.  Situated within ‘Golf Valley’ the course has some of the best panoramic views the mountains and Marbella coastline has to offer.

Designed by Spanish Ryder Cup players Antonio Garrido and Manuel Pinero and opened in 1989, La Quinta is often played by other Spanish professionals including Seve Ballesteros and Jose Maria Olazabal.  Each of the  three 9 hole courses can be combined to make 18 holes, and whatever the combination, the course will present a challenge for the most competent player.  Some say ‘it is easy’ but it is in fact a demanding course due to the narrow fairways and undulating terrain.  The greens are always of excellent quality.  La Quinta have redesigned several holes since opening the original course and recently replaced all the grass on a full nine holes.  To enjoy a successful round here will require accuracy avoiding trees, water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. You will find setup and condition of the course beautiful and La Quinta really is a pleasure to play.

Upon arrival you will find ample parking facilities, quite possibly the finest clubhouse on the coast, excellent changing facilities and a well well-stocked pro-shop.  After your round the restaurant provides good food or simply a drink on the terrace whilst admiring the views.  Tuition is available at the ‘Manuel Pinero Golf Academy’ either individually or as a group.  There are various packages available from the academy with something to suit every individuals requirements.  There is a practice area including three putting greens and a pitch and putt area.  clubbgolf.com advise you to take advantage of the buggies on offer, as the undulating terrain will take it’s toll, particularly in the warmer months.

La Quinta are very strict about booking tee times and receiving handicap certificates.  They specify bookings must be made via clubbgolf.com with names and handicaps of players prior to your arrival.  You should ensure you let clubbgolf.com book on your behalf to avoid disappointment.
