The Indiana course at Desert Springs Golf Resort, was the first, and is still the only true desert course in Europe.  Built to the full USPGA specifications it is a match for any of the now famous desert courses of Arizona and California. The contrast between the beautifully manicured playing areas and the arid desert captures the essence of why golf is a different prospect at Desert Springs.

The course itself offers unforgettable views and takes golf to a new level of excellence so far as design and construction is concerned.  The fairways are generous enough to ensure that even the less capable golfer can enjoy his game while taking in the wonderful views that encompass the Indiana Course.  However, when played at its limits, the course has been constructed to test even the world's best players.  Designed by Peter McEvoy and opened in 2000, one of the main features are the many tee positions which ensure a challenge for all standards of player.  Arguably the best feature is that every hole seems to have a hazard that is brought in to play.  Natural springs, water-courses, dry river beds, rocks and make sure you watch out for those cacti!  You might even spot one of the numerous armadillos that roam the course.  Bunkers are strategically placed to test the skills of even the most accomplished golfer, particularly from the back tees. The course offer a good variety of holes and is always kept in superb condition with the fairways being immaculate and the greens being some of the finest you will ever play!!

On arrival you will find ample parking and a well-stocked pro shop. There are the usual practice areas and a clubhouse with all the necessary changing facilities. You can enjoy a drink, and a meal, after your round and enjoy the spectacular views. The course can be walked but you really should take advantage of the buggies particularly if the weather is kind.

Desert Springs are very strict about booking tee times.  They request bookings be made via clubbgolf.com with names and handicaps of players prior to your arrival. You should ensure you let clubbgolf.com book on your behalf to avoid disappointment.
