Almanara is a 27-hole course consisting of three nines called - Los Pinos, Los Alcornoques and Los Lagos. These are adapted into three 18-hole courses - Course A (Los Pinos and Los Alcornoques), course B (Los Alcornoques and Los Lagos) and Course C (Los Lagos and Los Pinos).  Rotating the courses ensures they all remain in immaculate condition and a true pleasure to play.  With undulating fairways, deep bunkers and several water hazards Almenara is a challenge for even the most accomplished of golfers.  On some holes you will find yourself winding your way through cork oaks and others negotiating the streams and lakes that always come in to play.  The greens are always in superb condition and it may take you a while to judge the pace depending on weather conditions.  Elevated tees provide spectacular views of Gibraltar, the Med and on a clear day the mountains of north Africa. 

There are excellent facilities at Almenara with a superb practice area, boasting 27 driving bays, which is the envy of many clubs.  In this practice area there are three full-length holes, chipping and putting greens as well practice bunkers.  Golf tuition is available on an individual or group basis with swing analysis to iron out the unseen faults in your game.  

The clubhouse bar and restaurant facility with it’s large terrace offer breathtaking views of the surrounding area that quite simply have to be seen to be believed. The pro shop is well stocked, ample parking is provided and though you can easily walk buggies are always available.
