El Paraiso Golf Club is an attractive course designed by Gary Player and opened in 1974.  It was originally owned by Wimpey Homes until purchased by the members in 1996 who have since continued to refine the layout and presentation.

The course itself it is easy to walk with sufficient buggies available for those who prefer to ride.  The course will suit all levels of handicaps and is generally enjoyed by anyone who visits.  Watch out for the little brooks and small lakes, which are strategically placed to catch you out, particularly from the tees.  Small bushes, just off the fairway, define the metreage to the green at 200m, 150m and 100m.  The course is Par 71 and at 6131m off the white tees  offers a good mix par 4’s, par 5’s (that can be reached in 2) as well as par 3’s of varying distances.  This  adds up to a course that offers you a chance to play good golf in enjoyable surroundings.

The clubhouse offers a friendly atmosphere, a varied selection on the menu and a large patio area outside to enjoy the scenery.  There is a well-stocked pro shop and excellent practice facilities.

The golf professional at El Paraiso and has recently invested in the GASP swing analysis system, where you can see your swing on computer and iron out the little chinks in your armour.

This is a mature course, that is being continuously improved, in an attractive setting - It is well worth a visit!!

El Paraiso are very strict about booking tee times and receiving handicap certificates. They specify bookings must be made via clubbgolf.com with names and handicaps of players prior to your arrival. You should ensure you let clubbgolf.com book on your behalf to avoid disappointment.
