Dona Julia Golf......Pairs Betterball...... and a wind that you wouldn't believe, unless you were there!!

As always, the course at Dona Julia was in fabulous condition.  Could any of you putt, I would say you were assisted by the condition of the greens!!  hehe!!  As it is, I have to put it down to luck as our winners posted a score of 36pts.

Most notable score to narrowly miss out was posted by myself (again!!) and David Sharpe.  David played some beautiful golf, much to the disgust of Wayne Balfour.  Wayne, as usual, was getting his name on a lot of hole prizes with some good golf of his own.  However, no sooner had he walked from the green and David followed him with a beauty and wrote his own name on the card.  I have to admit we played well, and if it hadn't have been for the 2 blobs on our card, our 34pts might just have taken first prize.  As it was, it was golf balls galore for David, and back to the drawing board for me!!

Our eventual winners posted a score of 36pts, scoring on every hole the course had to offer.  Good consistant golf, complementing each other all the way meant that Graham 'Noonie' Noon and Daryll 'Deidre' Gibson took the spoils.  Handicaps will be cut again Gentlemen..... watch this space!!!
